Math

With the use of songs, animations, activities, and other multi-sensory stimulation, EDUSPARK K-2 (Math and Music) introduces the children to the world of numbers and basic operations.  These different mediums allow students to discover different measuring units, increase their understanding of geometry and space, as well as enhance their algebraic and statistical thinking.

Students draw, identify, and analyze two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes. Measuring quantities in the real world and using those measurements to solve problems help students relate mathematical principles to real-life application. Students analyze real-world patterns, make generalizations, create diagrams and design unique patterns.

Language Arts

Language Arts Program utilizes the scaffolding learning approach in each lesson which allows students to more easily build upon prior knowledge while internalizing new information. The context and categorized topics are reinforced by vocabulary scrolls and other language strategies and tools like synonyms and antonyms, games, and electronic workbook activities. Scaffolding activities build with letters, words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs. Participating in these activities ultimately result in the systematic development of written essays for each topic.

Writing brief questions, making notes, listening, and writing using EDUSPARK K-2 (Language Arts) software and electronic white board tools improve students’ comprehension of the contents and increase knowledge, vocabulary, and literacy skills. Singing the songs about the topics, dialoguing about them, and drawing help students to write simple stories. Rhythms, rhymes, and relationships between visual cues and structural patterns allow students to decode the meaning of unknown words.

Science and Health

Science and Health enables teachers to easily and quickly prepare stimulating and highly-interactive classes. They can guide their students in simple, entertaining, and enlightening ways. Many of the hard-to-explain concepts become clear and natural when understood through animations and games.

The stars, the macrocosm and its microcosms, the processes of life, interactions of living creatures within their environment, the Solar System and Universe, Matter and Energy, and other themes that are completely aligned with state requirements are essential components of this program.

Social Studies

With animations, activities, and other multi-sensory stimulation, EDUSPARK K-2 Social Studies introduces students to daily life activities, dancing, music, art, and cultural traditions that have evolved since the Renaissance Era.
Students will learn about the major accomplishments and achievements of scientists and inventors. Through this experience, students will discover how the innovations of those leading experts directly and indirectly influence the world in which we live today.
American History will help students uncover the significance of commemorative holidays and American symbols such as the American Bald Eagle, the Liberty Bell, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Presidents Day.  EDUSPARK will also help your student learn more about the contributions and influences of historical icons, such as George Washington and Martin Luther King Jr, who have help shape our nation.

With our historical time line, maps, and cultural lessons, students will better understand the different economic and government systems that have existed throughout American history.

Music

Students are easily guided through a multi-sensory exploration of the wonderful world of music! They will become exposed to various musical terminologies such as rhythms, durations of sound, rhythmic figures, and vibrations. Interesting relationships are discussed such as music and math, rhythm and sound, and range and direction of sound. Teachers are amazed when students are able to identify pieces of a classical music by name, name its composer, and locate where the composer was born.  Each lesson is highly interactive with games, solfeggio, concerts and activities.
